Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Timothy has had the opportunity to learn from some of the top dance educators. You can find him in Los Angeles, CA teaching private lessons, pop-up classes and choreographing for his company TTDC. Trained in classic jazz, ballet, hip hop, afro cuban, contemporary and specific modern techniques (Horton/Graham), Timothy specializes in developing professional dancers to have sustainable and thriving careers.
His choreographic resume includes: LA Fashion Week, Dorothy Chandler, Hollywood Bowl, CBS, El Portal Theater, Salvatore Capezio Theater, Alvin Ailey Studios, Spotify Sessions, Ivar Theater, and more.
Timothy had the opportunity to study under and assist Eric Ellis in jazz at Millennium Dance Complex for 4 years before moving to New York City. Here, he studied and worked at Peridance Capezio Center were he began transitioning into choreographing and teaching. He also lived in Alaska for 2 years helping develop and restructure a closing studio (Mat Valley Dance) that is now a booming business, along with working at various Alaskan dance studios.
He has trained with mentors including: Eric Ellis, Allen Walls, Anthony Johnson, Igal Perry, Graciela Kozak, Donyelle Jones, Jersey Maniscalo, Sue Samuels, Shirley Martin, Jeff Victor, and Dulce Capadocia.
